How to use Cytotec?
The last two (2) pills of Cytotec / Misoprostol are highly important to ensure that abortion will be complete. You should take them even if you have already started bleeding or cramping after the first dose.
To finish a pregnancy through an abortion you need to know how to use Cytotec correctly. This medicament should be taken as described below.
First Dose
You must place four (4) pills of Misoprostol (Cytotec – 200mcg) under your tongue at the same time and keep them there for at least 30 minutes, until they are completely dissolved.
You can swallow the saliva, but do not spit it.
After 30 minutes, you should fully SWALLOW the pills that have already dissolved in your mouth.
Second Dose
4 hours after the first dose, you should take a second dose of Misoprostol (Cytotec – 200mcg). At this stage, you have to put two (2) pills under your tongue at the same time.
Again, you should keep the pills under your tongue for 30 minutes. Do not swallow the pills before a period of 30 minutes inside the mouth.
You can swallow the saliva through the process, but do not spit it.
Do not use Cytotec / Misoprostol together with antacids that contain magnesium. It can cause diarrhea.
