It is normal for women to question how an abortion will affect their relationships, their sentimental life or their sexual appetite.
Having an abortion is a personal decision and, as such, it correlates with a wide range of feelings that will vary from person to person. This broad spectrum of feelings can also affect the relationship with the current partner. Based on this, we can categorize three main approaches:
A – Women who feel free, relieved and completely ready to go on with their lives.
B – Women who go through lack of control of their lives, concerned about the reasons that led them to carry out an abortion and how they can conduct themselves to avoid the same situation.
C – Women that blame their partners due to the absence of proper support or even because they are a constant reminder of a moment that women wish they hadn’t gone through.
An abortion does not interfere with your sex drive. A happy life only depends on the way you handle your feelings and deal with your relationships.
The way how your sentimental and sexual life will be affected has nothing to do with any organic, hormonal or inherent change to the abortion, but in how you see your own life.
Regardless of which group you picture yourself (A, B, C) the most important is for you to understand that the decisions of your life pertains to you. If you are not happy about the actual path of your life, try to change or reinvent yourself.
Rewriting your life may be a way to find the course that can conduct you to happiness and also transform you in a empowered woman.
